Being met at the airport by the easy going and highly enthusiastic Property Finders team got the short stay efficiently under way. Their short haul travel 'hints and tips' of maximising quality time in Mijas were a godsend! We really didnt need those bulky hairdryers and toilet bags, since high quality everything is provided in our room by them! Straight thru without having to wait for luggage - cool!
So within 15 minutes of stepping off the plane, we were in their car, and 15 minutes further we were at the fabulous Casa Ventura, our B'n'B for a couple of nights. The place is a spacious oasis of nature, calm and tranquility with a view of the coast and mountains to die for, and the furnishings wonderfully modern in the coolest of natural tones emphasised by the now famous 'Tony's taupe'. The perfect base camp for dreams to be realised!
Looking for our own modest Mijas property whilst chilling out in this heaven would need a slight adjustment in expectations!
The choice of properties to examine, based mostly on our geographical and financial brief, were a good mix of apartments, houses and villas. We weren't so familiar with what our money would buy, and I'm glad we werent too 'know it all' beforehand, because the choice helped us more easily rule out what we didnt want, despite the various merits of each. We became very clear about what we DID want and earmarked a property in need of some development, made easier by the ample imagination of our Property Finder friends!
All in all, a service that proved immense value for money, which must have saved us loads of time and money, and most importantly, confirmed the beauty and sophistication of Mijas, with its easy access to ample services, luxuries and sport in the surrounding areas, making it a prime place to buy!
